The 16 × 2.5 cm (6 × 1 in), 18 gram (0.8 ounce) Black Hornet military nano drone can fly for up to 20 minutes on a charge and transmit live video (including night vision) up to 1.6 kilometers (1 mile) back to the soldier who launched it, allowing him to see what and who is hiding ahead of him. These are currently being used by the Ukrainian Army in its war with Russia and are in inventories of the armies of Norway, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Algeria, Ireland, Australia, the Netherlands, Poland, New Zealand, India, Turkey, South Africa, and Morocco.
