A more than 40-year veteran of the world's media industries and specializing in the epochal changes that computer-mediated technologies have wrought in the world's media environment, Vin since 1996 has consulted to media companies on five continents, During that time, he has given the Republic of Singapore's nation media lecture; co-chaired and co-moderated the World Association of Newspapers/Ifra's Beyond the Printed Word conference; and seen his speech about the changing world of media published in the annual anthology Representative American Speeches along with orations by Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Hillary Clinton. More recently, Vin also has taught postgraduate New Media Business for 14 years at a major American university's renowned school of media. His knowledge of new media is so extensive that the nine-year-old quarterly International Journal of New Media Studies featured his essay, What Is New Media , as the premier story in its very first edition.
